  • 1 Piano and Violin Lessons

Lessons are available for all ages 3+ and are tailored to each pupil’s learning style and ability rather than based on their age. I use a variety of resources to develop the correct technique, read notation and understand rhythm in order to perform to the best of their ability. Pupils are encouraged to learn for pleasure or work towards their ABRSM exams, which is a qualification that is recognised around the world or towards their AMEB, which is the Australian equivalent. All pupils are provided with the tools to become an independent learner and the resources to have a good understanding of music theory and technique that will last a lifetime.

  • 2 Adults

Adults all have different motivations for wanting to learn an instrument. Lessons are tailored to suit the requirements for adults who are complete beginners or experienced performers wishing to rekindle and develop their love of their instrument. Pupils are able to focus on developing basic technique, improvisational and compositional skills, learn pieces for a particular occasion or even for training teachers who are needing to improve their performing and sight-reading skills to have the ability to accompany their own pupils.

  • 3 HSC Pupils

Having been Head of Music in the UK and Australia, I have structured lessons to support pupils taking Music at school. These lessons are provided for short or long periods to assist pupils with their performance, composition and theory to help them to gain a higher grade for their HSC.

MusicTutorPlease was originally established in London and specialises in taking young children from pre-school on a musical journey. In a vibrant learning environment, your child will grow in confidence as they learn skills that are not only essential in music but in all areas of learning.
From the first lesson, your child will develop their creativity as they improvise to learn their way around their chosen instrument. Engaging songs are used to introduce the key names, develop a sense of rhythm and learn important listening skills that are required to become a master.
